The Earth has become warmer. Europe has been facing a fuel crisis and fuel prices are increasing. Europe is facing a severe heat wave. These are only a part of the news that we hear every day. Regarding the war in Ukraine, it may not be easy to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement. Some European countries are again using fossil fuel power stations to provide part of their needs. In spite of all the achievements in the field of renewable energies, we have concluded that there is still a long way to go without the need for fossil fuels. It may be possible to reduce the use of coal to produce electricity by using solar panel farms and wind turbines, but can we find a reliable and sustainable alternative to gasoline and diesel?
Our main topic in this issue is Biofuels. In the articles section, we will introduce the Energy globe, and we have an article about the Analysis and Development of Bioenergy in Iran. The introduction of two Qatar Universities (which conduct research in the field of Environment) is also a part of this issue. Following this, we will have an interview with Dr. Zahra Maghareh Isfahan, a Graduate of Putra University Malaysia, Malaysia, in the field of Environment. The News Section, as always, includes various news from around the world.
